- Here, enter all the details of the teacher, including the name, gender, date of birth, and Aadhaar number, staff code, social category, academic or professional qualification, mobile number, and email. The ID Card number is mandatory when you are adding new entries.
- Mention their main subject studies, appointment type, either regular or contract, and joining dates.
- You will also enter their appointment details, such as the class they will teach and the main subject.
- Then enter the training details, like whether they will train the kids with special needs, cyber safety, or NISHTHA training.

Adding Non-Teaching Staff
- With the UDISE Plus portal, you will find the “Add Non-Teaching Staff” and enter all their details, such as name, gender, Aadhaar, etc, and other information.

Adding VTP Staff

- Send to Dropbox/Left School:
- This is for those who have left their post.
- For this, click on the “Left School.”
- Here, you will enter the reason, whether retirement, transfer, or duplicate entry, and add remarks.
- You will have to mention the last date of their service.
- After this, confirm the process.
- Import Staff:
- This is for those staff members who have transferred from another institute.
- For this, click “Import Staff” and add staff transferred from another school.
- Enter their other details such as National Code, date of birth, select joining dates, and appointment type.

- With the SDMS Portal, you can use the “Map” option to assign or update the head of the school

Forgot Password / Reset access
It happens that we might forget our password, but at that time, stay calm and use your mind. However, if you don’t find any way, you can use the methods given below.
Method A: Forgot Password link
- On the login page, you will find the Forgot Password option.
- Click on it and follow the prompts, like providing your User ID and filling in the Captcha.
- You may receive an OTP on the registered mobile number.
- Use that OTP and reset the password.
Method B: Through Block/District MIS
- If the registered mobile number has changed, or you are not receiving the OTP, don’t worry.
- Contact your Block/District MIS, ask them to update details and re‑issue credentials.
Troubleshooting Common UDISE Plus Teacher Module Login Issues

Invalid credentials
- Make sure you are entering the right UDISE code and password.
- Clear your browser cache and try again.
- If the old list shows 10 10-digit numbers, you can add a leading zero to make 11.
Captcha keeps failing
- If you face this, refresh the captcha image and enter the captcha code again.
- Don’t add spaces while typing the letters.
Account locked / Password expired
- By any chance, if you forget your password, use the forget password option available on the login page.
- You can also contact the Block or District MIS for this.
Don’t see the Teacher Module after login
- You must log in through the main UDISE Plus Portal. At the dashboard, you will find the module.
Note: In case you forget your password, click “Forgot Password” and reset it using your registered mobile number or email.

- After the work is done, you can log out for security.
